Hôtel Le Chamois sits on the Route du Pillon at the entrance to Les Diablerets, five minutes' walk from the centre and above the village supermarket and pharmacy. It is a three-star hotel of 52 rooms, every one with a balcony, run by the Balmelli family, and it now also has apart-hotel units for two to six people.
The style is simple. The balconies face south towards the Meilleret and Glacier 3000, and guests have a fitness and spa area, though the hotel publishes little detail about it. The family describes the place as ideal for families, groups of hikers and young couples. The Glacier 3000 cable car at Col du Pillon is about 4.7 km away, roughly five minutes by car, one of the shorter drives from the village. It suits families and groups who want space and a balcony more than polish.
Closed 5 October to 27 November 2026; winter 2026/27 opens on 28 November. Closing and summer 2027 dates are not yet published. The bus from Les Diablerets to Col du Pillon is free with the Carte Bienvenue, and from November to April also with a Glacier 3000 ticket.
