Hôtel Les Lilas is an 1891 wooden chalet on the Route du Pillon in Les Diablerets, turned into a three-star hotel with about ten rooms, all renovated in 2010. Rooms come as standard doubles, cosy doubles and junior suites, with mountain views, and there is a sauna in the house. The restaurant runs over two rooms and opens seven days a week.
It is a family-run place that couples in particular like. The nearest lifts are the Les Vioz-Les Mazots chairlift at 700 metres and the Jorasse chairlift at 1 km, and the Glacier 3000 cable car at Col du Pillon is about six minutes by car. One small, useful touch for skiers: you can take a shower after checking out, so a last day on the slopes does not end without one. It suits couples and small parties who want a cosy base with a restaurant downstairs.
Parking at the hotel. The bus from Les Diablerets to Col du Pillon is free with the Carte Bienvenue, and from November to April also with a Glacier 3000 ticket. No closure dates are published.
