HUUS Gstaad or Hotel Spitzhorn?

HUUS Gstaad and Hotel Spitzhorn are both modern hotels in Saanen, a few kilometres from Gstaad, and both look after families. Each has an indoor pool and a sauna, a ski and bike shop in the building, and a pick-up from the station. Neither is on the slopes. The real difference is size. HUUS is a large hotel of 136 rooms with a kids' club, a teen room and a 135 m² panoramic pool. Spitzhorn is a 50-room chalet hotel near the centre of Saanen, hosted by its owners, where every room has a balcony or terrace.

HUUS suits families with children of mixed ages, including teenagers who will use the racing simulator and pool tables, and swimmers who want a proper pool. Spitzhorn suits families with children up to 11 who want a family room for two adults and two children, a playroom and a quieter house, and guests arriving by train at Saanen, 500 m away. Spitzhorn closes in spring and late autumn; HUUS publishes no closing dates.
