On our lists

The Gstaaderhof is run by the Huber family, now in its second generation, on Lauenenstrasse near the car-free Promenade. Its 66 rooms include panorama rooms and junior suites with balconies facing Glacier 3000 and the Oldenhorn, and duplex rooms of 40 to 44 m² on two floors that sleep four. The Gstaad lifts are about a 10-minute walk, and the hotel will collect you from the station during the day.

Restaurant Müli, French and international, holds 14 points in Gault&Millau 2027, and in winter the Saagi-Stübli serves fondue and raclette. Children get a playroom, and there are billiards, table football and ping-pong. The wellness area is small, with sauna, steam bath and whirlpool but no pool, and it is for guests aged 16 and over. Doris and Jost Huber lead the winter hikes themselves. It suits families and anyone who walks as much as they ski.
