Le Grand Bellevue was built in 1912 as a cure house and spa, and it still stands in its own park at the entrance to the car-free Promenade, so the shops and cafés of Gstaad are a short walk away. There are 57 rooms and suites, some in the turreted tower, and an Art Deco bar with live piano.
The spa is the main draw: 3,000 m², with 17 heat and water zones including hay and herbal saunas and a salt grotto, a 15 m indoor pool and a heated outdoor pool. Winter rates include a three-course dinner at Leonard's, which holds 16 points in Gault&Millau 2027. The Polar Bear Kids' Club takes children aged 2 to 5. It is not ski-in ski-out; a hotel shuttle takes you to the slopes. It suits spa lovers, couples who like dinner sorted, and families with small children.
Open 18 December 2026 to 29 March 2027; the kids' club runs 18 December to 14 March. Summer 2027 dates are not yet out. Minimum stays apply at Christmas, New Year and major events. Valet parking. Dogs are allowed for a nightly fee, but not in Leonard's or the Sushi Bar.
