Miiro The Mansard opened in November 2024 on the site of the old Hotel Christiania, a minute from Gstaad station and opposite the ice rink at the start of the Promenade. It has 29 rooms, suites and apartments, almost all with balconies, historic photographs of Gstaad by Jacques Naegeli on the walls, and Le Labo in the bathrooms.
The open-air rooftop bar looks out over the mountains in every direction and serves fondue in winter. Downstairs, The Mansard Restaurant, a modern Swiss brasserie, is new in Gault&Millau 2027 with 13 points, and the wood-panelled bar has an open fire. There is a sauna and a Refresh Room for showering before check-in or after check-out, but no swimming pool. Apartments sleep four to six. It suits couples, friends and families who want to be central, arrive by train and spend the evenings out.
Open 23 November 2026 to 30 March 2027; summer 2027 dates are not yet published. The rooftop bar reopens on 4 December 2026. The restaurant is closed on Mondays. Garage parking is charged.
